About
Rooted in the shifting landscapes of the Anthropocene, my work explores the fragile intersections between human life, ecological crisis, and speculative futures. Through both painting and screen-based animation, I construct layered visual narratives that examine the artifacts we leave behind—remnants of a culture in flux, shaped by extraction, displacement, and uneasy evolution. My practice is driven by an urgent need to document, question, and reimagine our collective visual culture in an era defined by environmental upheaval.
I earned my BFA from Flagler College in the historic coastal town of St. Augustine, Florida, and my MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia—an experience that deepened my commitment to interdisciplinary exploration and material experimentation. Over the years, I’ve exhibited nationally in a variety of group exhibitions, bringing my work into both traditional gallery contexts and unexpected spaces, from contemporary art centers to intimate café pop-ups.
As a professor of drawing and painting, I am honored to mentor the next generation of artists. Together, we work to refine technique and develop their own visual voice. My teaching is fueled by the same curiosity and urgency that informs my studio practice: a belief that art has the power to provoke, to mourn, to remember, and to imagine new futures.
Through paint, pixels, and possibility, I aim to make visible the invisible currents shaping our world. I wonder- What kind of future we are collectively building as we leave behind one artifact at a time.
